"Diana is driven. She is an organized student who gets her work done. I’ve often seen her working on school projects in the library, making the best use of her time. The high school experience

Diana expressed how grateful she is to not only cherish the friends she has made over the years, but the opportunities she was able to create for herself. She is a very accomplished student who will make an impact on the world with her dedication and hard work.
"My favorite thing about high school was being granted the opportunity to make amazing friends and create an experience that I did not expect to have. It’s crazy, but throughout my freshmen and sophomore years I made it my mission to transfer because of the quiet atmosphere at DHS, but it changed because of the bonds I created. I can say your high school experience will be good or bad, depending on the extent you go to make it."

"Diana Ladouceur is a beautiful person inside and out. She has a wonderful school work ethic and a phenomenal personality that will surely positively impact her entire life. I wish her only the best in life and I cannot wait to see where she lands."
- stephen wojtowicz, dhs science teacher

taking the next step

All of Diana's hard work has gotten her into many universities such as University of Connecticut, Quinnipiac and Howard University! She will be attending Southern Connecticut State University to major in health science. With this degree, Diana strives to become a nurse or a mental health counselor. Overtime, she aims to become an ultrasound technician. Although she isn't excited to leave high school, she has helped the process of leaving by preparing herself mentally of the challenges to come.
"I wouldn’t say I'm excited, but I am looking forward to leaving high school and gaining independence. I’m not nervous about what’s to come because I feel I've prepared myself mentally."

"Diana is a tenacious, highly intelligent and beautiful young lady. She is one of those students you will always remember because of how serious she takes her education. I know she will do amazing things in the future no matter what field she decides to go into."
- sara sicona, dhs art teacher

Advice for underclassmen striving for top 10

Diana was well spoken with her advice to underclassmen who strive for top 10 in their class. Not only should a student take rigorous classes, but making sure a student excels in these classes too
"The advice that I have for the underclassman who wants to aim for the top 10 is to stay consistent with completing work, even during senior year. Also, remain consistent with taking honor classes- and to boost up your rank, AP classes as well."
